Corruption
according to Black's Law Dictionary: Corruption is an act done with intent to deliver a benefit
that is not authorized by the rights of others are wrong to use his position or
his character to gain an advantage for himself or others, contrary to the
obligations and rights the rights of other parties.
While,
Corruption
according to Sheikh Hussein Alatas: Mention the common thread that investigate corruption in the
activity, which is subordinated to the interests of the public interest under
the personal goals that include violations of norms, duties, and general
welfare, coupled with the secrecy, betrayal and deception outstanding suffered
by the community.
Some of the above
understanding, is an understanding of corruption made by some experts who are working in the field of it. We ourselves also have been compiled by our own definition of corruption. namely:
"A form of responsibility abuse by those who are supposed to be trusted. And usually this is done to fill their greed."
From some
of the above understanding, we can draw a conclusion: Corruption is an act that
is detrimental to society. It can be seen from the conclusion of the above
notions.
